Mac Allister Sends Message to Luciano Guaycochea at Persib Bandung


Following their consecutive Liga 1 championship wins, Persib Bandung is undergoing a major squad overhaul. In a surprising move, all of the foreign players who contributed to last season’s title have now left the club.

Persib is set to bring in a new set of foreign players in a bid to defend their title and potentially complete a historic hat-trick of championships.

Several new signings have already been unveiled to the Bandung public, including Luciano Guaycochea, an Argentine midfielder.

The introduction of Luciano Guaycochea came with an unexpected surprise, as Liverpool star Alexis Mac Allister, who is also from Argentina, sent his best wishes to Luciano on his move to Persib.

Through a post on Persib's official Media Sosial account, Mac Allister shared his support and well wishes for Guaycochea's success with the Maung Bandung squad.

“Hi Lucho, I wish you all the best and hope you find success at Persib. Enjoy football,” said Mac Allister.

As it turns out, Luciano Guaycochea and Alexis Mac Allister are related—the two are cousins.
