Synopsis of Omniscient Reader: The Prophecy 2025

Omniscient Reader: The Prophet follows the story of Kim Dok Ja, an ordinary office worker whose life is turned upside down when the world begins to follow the plot of his favorite web novel, Three Ways to Survive the Apocalypse.

Dok Ja, the only person who has read the novel to its end, suddenly becomes a "prophet" of a collapsing world. Armed with deep knowledge of how the story will unfold, he sets out to change humanity’s fate and rewrite the ending of the narrative he once thought was fiction.

As reality crumbles in line with the novel’s storyline, Dok Ja finds himself in a deadly adventure. Amid the chaos, he encounters Yoo Joong Hyuk (played by Lee Min Ho), the main protagonist of the novel who has now come to life. Yoo Joong Hyuk is a powerful warrior with charismatic presence and formidable combat skills—but he initially mistrusts Dok Ja.

Together, they form a fragile yet crucial alliance to face deadly monsters, a restructured world governed by new systems, and brutal conflicts between survivors fighting for their lives.

Blending epic action, emotional drama, and sharp narrative twists, Omniscient Reader: The Prophet plunges viewers into a world where knowledge becomes both a weapon and a burden—and only those who can break the limits of fiction can change the ending for everyone.

When Will It Be Released?

Omniscient Reader: The Prophet Jeonjijeok Dokja Sijeom ( 전지적 독자 시점 ) is scheduled to hit theaters on July 23, 2025 in South Korea.

The film is a live-action adaptation of the popular web novel Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint, directed by Kim Byung-woo and starring big names like Lee Min-ho, Ahn Hyo-seop, and BLACKPINK’s Jisoo.

While the July 2025 release date has been confirmed for Korea, an official release date for other countries including Thailand has not yet been announced. Stay tuned for updates!
