Liverpool still has money to sign Alexander Isak

Experts believe that Liverpool can sign striker Alexander Isak despite having spent more than £280 million in the summer transfer market.
Liverpool has spent up to £280 million to sign several new players, including Hugo Ekitike, Florian Wirtz, Milos Kerkez, Jeremie Frimpong, and Giorgi Mamardashvili.

However, planned purchases in recent years have allowed the Kop to continue spending money without violating the Profitability and Sustainability Rule (PSR).

For most Premier League clubs, the PSR rule is the biggest obstacle in the transfer market. This rule limits clubs' losses to more than £105 million over three years or imposes sanctions such as those imposed on Nottingham Forest and Everton.

However, Liverpool fans have no reason to worry, as despite their busy activity in the transfer market this summer, Liverpool still has enough financial leeway to make further moves.

This is partly due to the fact that the club did not spend much money last summer, signing only one new player, Federico Chiesa, for £13 million. Liverpool also received a £174.9 million cash prize for winning the Premier League, which was a major financial boost for the club.

These two factors, combined with Liverpool's support through a £350 million revolving credit facility from FSG (recently extended by a further £50 million), have allowed the club to continue spending money.

In theory, Liverpool will have an additional £90 million to spend under PSR rules. Even if the club signs Isak for £150 million, the cost will be spread over five years, meaning that only £30 million will be accounted for in the current financial year.
