Theo Hernandez Officially Joins Saudi Klub Al Hilal

Al-Hilal has officially announced the signing of AC Milan player Theo Fernandez. The contract between the two parties is for three years, until the end of the 2027-2028 season. According to media reports, the transfer fee for Theo is 25 million euros, and the player's annual salary reaches 22 million euros.

Theo moved to Milan in 2019. He made a total of 262 appearances for Milan, scoring 34 goals and providing 45 assists, and helped Milan win the 2021-22 Serie A championship and the 2024-25 Italian Super Cup.

Hernandez's transfer fee is relatively low because his contract with Milan had only one season remaining. The Rossoneri refused to grant the significant salary increase requested by the player, making his release this summer the most logical option.

Hernandez is expected to have no trouble adapting to Al Hilal. The club has several players who have previously played in Serie A, such as Kalidou Koulibaly, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, and Joao Cancelo. Additionally, he will be coached by Simone Inzaghi.

Theo will now begin a new chapter with Al Hilal under the guidance of coach Simone Inzaghi. He is scheduled to make his debut on August 20 in the Saudi Super Cup semifinal against Al Qadsiyah.
